HIDRACAR was founded in 1974 by its current director, Manuel Carcaré Gimeno, a technical engineer who had been working for 5 years in the oil-hydraulic sector for the Olaer company (Mercier-Greer Group). Since 1974 HIDRACAR SA has been manufacturing pulsation dampers, oleo-pneumatic accumulators and related equipment for application in all types of industry. We design and manufacture all our products and components in our facilities. HIDRACAR SA . is a leader in the field of pulsation dampers, oleo-pneumatic accumulators, shock absorbers, oleo-hydraulic starters for diesel engines and oleo-pneumatic suspensions for tankers and agricultural trailers.
Our experience and knowledge is fully available to our customers, whose trust in our products has made the HIDRACAR brand present throughout the world. Our pulsation dampeners are being used in the chemical, petrochemical and water treatment industries in more than 70 countries. The HIDRACAR SA facilities extend over a 7,000 m2 plot of land in the Bufalvent industrial estate in Manresa.
The second decade of the 21st century were years of significant growth for HIDRACAR . The continuous investment in the acquisition of machinery and the increase in manufacturing mean that the available space in the Sant Vicenç warehouses is insufficient. For this reason, a 6,690 m2 plot of land is acquired in the Bufalvent industrial estate, in Manresa, where HIDRACAR will build a total of 4,245 m2 of industrial warehouse and offices in the near future.
The facilities have a workshop area for the storage of raw materials, machining, welding and painting with an area of 1,200 m2; an area for the storage of the finished product, assembly and vulcanization with an area of 1,100 m2 and a space for offices of 520 m2. Since 1974 HIDRACAR SA has been manufacturing pulsation dampers for installation in circuits equipped with injection pumps.
We have positioned ourselves in the world market as one of the most important manufacturers of pulsation dampers. Among our clients are the most important manufacturers of metering pumps and engineering companies worldwide.
